A beautiful Lea Stein sleeping cat brooch in glossy marbled coral and white. This lovely cat brooch has a coral coloured body and black eyes and ears. The back of the brooch is coloured matching the front. The back is signed “Lea Stein Paris” on the ‘trademark’ v-shaped pin which has a safety clasp to secure the brooch. This lovely brooch is in mint condition.

Established in the 1960s, Lea Stein is a French artist and designer best known for her beautiful acrylic animal brooches. To this day she remains one of the most influential artists and plastic jewellery makers of the 20th Century and is widely collected around Europe and the United States of America.

Lea Stein and her husband still make these pieces to this day; we are lucky enough to buy these from her sole UK supplier, which means we are able to keep our prices low!
