1920s Vintage Beaded Purse

A stunning original 1920s beaded purse featuring silver-white glass baguette beads, pearlescent-white glass seed beads and silver baguette glass beads. This gorgeous purse dates to late 1920s / early 1930s, and is incredibly beautiful, with an opening of just 12cm – enough for lipstick & credit cards. This 1920s vintage beaded purse would have been made by hand and features a hand-stitched popper closure.

This lovely original 1920s purse is in very good condition for it’s age. Note: there are a few very small beads missing on one outside edge, and there is an obvious ink stain on the inside lining (see pictures); we have not tried top remove the mark for fear that it might smudge. Since the outside detail is unaffected, the mark does not detract from the wearability and beauty of the purse.
