Style 1940s Girl’s Dress Pattern (4803)
A lovely 1940s girl’s dress pattern from Style, style number 4803.
The back of the pattern says: “Three versions are given for this pretty child’s dress, with buttons down centre front. View A has slightly curved square neck, cap sleeves and a gathered pocket on a flared skirt, a belt finishes the dress. View B has short sleeves and a rouleau tie bow finishes the round neck. View C has long bishop sleeves and the bodice has an additional pocket.”
There are 10 pieces in the pattern in total, as well as instructions for how to create the dress.
Sizing: The sizing on the package says it would be suitable for a 12 year old child.
Bust: 30″
Waist: 25″
This would suit a child of around 12-13 years old according to UK sizing.
Condition: Complete but the envelope is in poor condition.
